Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25 (Fully Funded)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brunei is excited to announce the opening of applications for the Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship 2024/25. This fully funded scholarship opportunity is available to international students for the academic session 2024/2025, enabling them to pursue Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate Master’s Degree programs at universities in Brunei.

The academic year is set to commence in July/August 2024. The Brunei Darussalam Government Scholarship covers all expenses, including airfare, full tuition fees, accommodation, monthly stipend, and health insurance for the entire duration of the program.

In Which Educational Institutions Can You Seek Admission?

The Brunei Government scholarship offers opportunities in the following five universities:

1. Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD),
2. Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA),
3. Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB),
4. Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB),
5. Politeknik Brunei (PB)​

Advantages of the BDGS 2024:

1. Exemption from all tuition fees, including acceptance, examination, registration, and orientation fees throughout the program’s duration.
2. Economy class airfare to Brunei Darussalam.
3. Monthly personal allowance of BND$500.00.
4. Monthly meal allowance of BND$150.00.
5. Annual book allowance of BND$600.00.
6. Free Accommodation at the university’s/polytechnic’s residential college.
7. Baggage allowance:
   • Almost BND$250.00 for a country within the ASEAN region.
   • Almost BND$500.00 for a country outside the ASEAN region.
