Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences Scholarship 2024

Are you planning to study full-time at Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences? Are you a great student from a country outside Europe? See if you can apply for the NL Scholarship.

The NL Scholarship is funded by the Dutch government and universities in the Netherlands. The grant gives money to great students from outside Europe who are accepted into a full-time bachelor program at VHL but not from the EEA.

The NL Scholarship gives you €10,000 but doesn’t cover all your tuition fees. The candidates who win the award must first be accepted into a full-time bachelor’s program taught in English at VHL. The money will be sent to the Dutch bank account of the winners in 4 equal amounts over four years while they are studying.

Application requirements

• You are from a country outside of Europe.
• You can study in a full-time English bachelor program at VHL.
• You haven’t gone to college in The Netherlands before.
• You are good at English (at least on the IELTS Academic test, with a score of 6. 5 overall
• and no scores below 5. 5 or something similar).
• You did well in your last school.
• Please write a 250-500 word personal statement explaining why you want to study a specific program, how it will help you in your future career, and how your home country and the Netherlands could benefit from your education.
• You need to be accepted into a full-time English bachelor program at VHL University before June 1st to apply for the NL Scholarship.
