CHANCELLOR’S MASTERS SCHOLARSHIP 2024 AT SUSSEX UNIVERSITY

If you’re aiming for a Master’s degree at Sussex University and you’ve got an outstanding academic record, there’s some good news. They’re offering a Masters Scholarship for top graduates from UK or Irish universities. Here’s what you should know:

Benefits Of Chancellor’s Master Scholarship

• Financial benefits : If you’re from the UK or Ireland, you could get a discount of £3,000 off your tuition fees. If you’re from elsewhere, it’s a bigger £5,000 discount.
• What It Covers: Just your tuition fees.

Eligibility:

• You need to have or be expecting a First Class Honors Bachelor’s degree from a UK or Irish university.
• You must provide a statement of academic interests which should include information about:

• • Your previous academic achievement and excellence
  • Your academic and career aspirations after you have completed your Masters
  • Any work or extra-curricular activity you have undertaken that relates to your Masters

Ineligibility:

• You can’t apply if you’re going for a Master’s somewhere other than Sussex.
• If you’re doing your final year of an integrated Master’s at Sussex, this isn’t for you.
• If you graduated from Sussex in 2024, sorry, you’re not eligible.
• Also, if you did your bachelor’s at a UK uni’s overseas campus or external program, you’re out of luck.

Excluded program:

• Some specific types of courses, like certificates, diplomas, include PGCE won’t qualify.
• Courses at Brighton and Sussex Medical School and IDS are excluded.
• Early Years Education, Degrees in Social Work with an NHS bursary, and School direct teaching courses are excluded.
• Online courses.
• Masters funded by research councils (e.g., ESRC 1+3 funding) are also not included.

Availability

• Number of Scholarships: 100, with a quarter already allocated by the end of March.
• Application Deadline: The application deadline for the Chancellor’s Masters Scholarship at Sussex University is 1 August 2024, 23:59.
